Kalyx testnet
Apply to validate.
Ask for the 40,010 KALYX stake amount. Approval pays that spending account. It does not put a key in the validator set. The deposit comes after, from the wallet, and the validator key stays on your machine.
What happens next
An operator approves or rejects the row. Approval sends 40,010 KALYX to the spending address, once. Rejection sends nothing.
After the payment, open the wallet for that address and choose Deposit. That transaction sends 40,000 KALYX to the deposit contract with the public file you already submitted. The beacon queues the key. At most eight new validators activate in one epoch. You still run your own node.
The deposit button stays off until this explorer can read a 20-byte deposit address from the published chain config. Approving an application does not invent that address.
